Black Rifle 101 still has plenty of room. This class is a great introduction to AR-15 style rifles. For this class we have rifles you can borrow if needed - and plenty of ammunition! Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Concealed Carry Initial 15-hour

I will be holding a 15-hour New Mexico Concealed Carry Class in a few weeks. Class sessions will be:

- Monday 3/28 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Online - ZOOM)
- Wednesday 3/30 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Online - ZOOM)
- Monday 4/4 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Online - ZOOM)
- Wednesday 4/6 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Online - ZOOM)
Range time will be scheduled individually either in Los Alamos or in Jemez.

If you missed your renewal window or know someone who needs their initial NM CCW training, this is the class for them.

Class is standard local price of $175+tax.

Remember: as a New Mexico resident, you can only carry concealed in the State of New Mexico on a New Mexico license. An out-of-state license is only valid inside NM for non-NM residents.

Intro to Precision Rifle Class
If you are signed up for our precision rifle class on March 26, you should have received an informational email with everything you need to know to prepare you for class. If you signed up for this class and haven't received that email, let me know ASAP.

Whether or not you are taking this class (but especially if you are), if you have a scoped rifle, I recommend running this diagnostic on it periodically:

Loose actions, rings, mounts, scopes, etc... are extremely detrimental to accuracy. If you need help mounting or leveling an optic before class, let me know!
|

|
|
|
As the weather warms up, that means more comfortable days on the range. Ammunition prices are still high (compared to pre-2020 levels at least), and they will be for a while. Availability is increasing, though. If you are buying ammo by the box from the local sporting goods stores, I can almost guarantee you are paying too much. Buy in bulk when possible.
