End-of-March Update

Intro to Precision Rifle Class

We held our intro to precision rifle class today, what a great group of shooters! Our steel targets got quite a workout. We also added some new friends to the ADC New Mexico family. Our thanks to Los Alamos Sportsmen's Club for use of the range.

If you didn't get into this class, but you are interested in precision rifle shooting, let me know. It's difficult to schedule this class more than once a year due to range availability, but we hold an online version of the classroom portion and we can always to some individual range sessions for skill development, or even helping you get sighted in and develop a data card.

This class is coming up in July and still has plenty of room. If you don't own an AR15 type rifle, but want to learn more about them, we have a few we can let you borrow for this class.
Intro to the AR15 This 1-day workshop is a study in the AR-15 Rifle and its variants. Currently, several manufacturers are producing high-quality rifles and carbines based on this design. Gun Show Next Weekend

There will be a gun show on Saturday and Sunday, April 2 & 3 at the Knights of Columbus hall on DP road. I will have 2 tables with handguns, security vaults, AR parts, and other items. Stop in and pay us a visit!

Status on Adaptive Defense Armory Handguards

Our first prototype handguard arrived this week. This one is "in-the-white," but the finished ones will be Mil-spec Type III hardcoat anodized. There are a few adjustments that need to be made yet, but these should be available by this summer.

What are the benefits of this design?
Quick Detach sling plugs on both sides, Mlok rails in the middle, Picatinny rails on top and smaller sections on the sides and bottom in front. These allow attachments like flashlights or illumination modules to be mounted as far forward as possible.
Ammo update - since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, ammunition purchases have skyrocketed here in the US. The increased demand will drive up prices again, and drive down availability - eventually. At the moment, I think prices are as low as they are going to be for a while. If you are thinking about getting ammo, you might benefit from purchasing some now. The local stores are not typically the best way to buy ammo, buy it online. The outlets I use are:

Don't forget that I am also a dealer for Norma ammunition, if there's something you need, let me know so I can get it ordered for you. Take time to check all your supplies, make sure you are prepared, not just firearms and ammo, but first-aid supplies, medicines, and make sure your pantry is full.

As always, if there's anything I can help you out with, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
