I have some major announcements and important news in this email. This is one you should read to the end...

    ADC-15 Carbines In Action

    badlands4
This past weekend I taught a 2-day carbine class at Badlands Tactical in Oklahoma. It was the perfect time to put one of my ADC-15's through its paces. Equipped with a Nightforce NX8 optic (1-8X24 FFP Mil/Mil), the rifle performed flawlessly and made easy hits out to 600 yards from a supported offhand position. These rifles can really shoot!

They are also selling faster than I anticipated they would. For reasons to be explained in the next section, this will be the last batch like this. If you are in the market for an AR-15 style rifle (or think you ever might be in the market for one), I would suggest this is not the time to dilly-dally. If the current laws being proposed pass, you will want a "grandfathered" rifle. These command premium prices, or at least they did the last "assault weapons ban" go around in the 90's. ...something to think about.

      ...and now

It is with mixed emotions that I must announce that I am leaving New Mexico. I have received a very attractive offer of employment in a different, much more "gun-friendly" state. While it is a step in the right direction for my career, it does mean the end of Adaptive Defense Armory and Adaptive Defense Concepts in New Mexico. With the fire restrictions in place, our training for the year was basically at an end anyway. With the impending restrictions on our Right to Keep and Bear Arms pushed by the anti-gun crowd in this state, life here as a firearms enthusiast will continue to become more and more difficult, at least for the predictable future.

...so, where does that leave us?

ADC and ADA will live on - just elsewhere. I will continue online training classes that will be available regardless of location. I will continue to be available by phone and email to alumni and subscribers to this list for your firearms questions. Lastly, I will be only a roughly 12-hour drive away, so don't rule out an occasional trip back for a class in the area, especially if you have a group of folks looking for something in particular.
The last 4 years here have seen these companies grow incredibly in a short period of time, which they could not have done without your support. I hope that I was able to provide you with training experiences and information that you found valuable, and I hope it was as much fun for you as it was for me.

Once I am settled in my new location, I will continue sending updates via these emails with relevant information on the industry, training tips, deals, and more.

Please keep in touch and don't hesitate to reach out if you need information on firearms or self-defense related topics.

I would ask that you be safe, be a responsible gun owner, be a good ambassador for the armed lifestyle, and be an outspoken advocate for the preservation of our Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Protect yourself and family, use your votes wisely, and pass on this heritage to the younger generations so they have an appreciation of this Right and Responsibility.
