HEADLINES TO CONSIDER

  • FBI WHISTLEBLOWER WARNS AMERICAN PEOPLE: "ARM YOURSELF."
  • HURRICANE HELENE LEAVES MILLIONS WITHOUT POWER.
  • U.S. AUTHORITIES CONCERNED THAT "TREN DE ARAGUA" COULD TAKE ROOT WITH INCREASED MIGRATION.
Despite what you might hear from the politically-motivated fact checkers (the same ones who said a bandana would protect you from a virus and that the 2020 riots that resulted in over 600 acts of arson, an estimated 19 fatalities, and $2 Billion in damages nationwide were "mostly peaceful"), our national security is in unprecedented territory. I don't believe in unnecessary fear mongering, but I do believe in a realistic appraisal of the situation and a healthy level of preparedness for whatever might come. Do your own homework on this. Learn what happens in cities after the lights are out for more than 72 hours and what we can expect in the southeast in the aftermath of the Hurricane. Determine how world and national events may have an impact on your locality and your personal safety. Prepare accordingly.

Preparedness is a personal decision based on risk tolerance, location, and worldview. There isn't a one-size fits all approach. Make your decisions rationally before emergencies hit. Have a plan (in fact, I recommend a PACE approach: Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency plans). Have the supplies you need including medications and first aid/trauma supplies. Have adequate arms and ammo and stay in practice. Have a reliable water supply and a backup. Have food that will last without refrigeration that is easy to prepare. Consider having backup communications and power. It's always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Local and regional disasters can hit at any time. It doesn't necessarily need to be a world-wide or national-level catastrophe to turn your world upside-down.

UPPER RECEIVER GROUPS

If you are looking to reinforce your armaments, I have over a dozen assembled uppers with 16", 18" and 20" barrels equipped with Adaptive Defense Armory handguards, and gasblocks.
These fully-assembled, ready-to-shoot, upper receiver groups include:
  • Mil-spec upper receivers with lapped flange-faces for maximum engagement with the barrel extension and barrel nut.
  • ADA-cobranded "Rack" ambidextrous charging handles from Battle Arms Development,
  • Enhanced bolts with C158 mil spec bolt heads,
  • Free-floating ADA Handguards with Mlok® slots on the sides, bottom, and angular sections, full-length Picatinny top rail, forward Picatinny sections straddling our railed gas-block for extra real-estate for lights, lasers, illuminating modules and bipods.
  • QD swivel attachment points on the right and left side.
  • ADA "Rook" flash suppressors.
18" Rifle Length "Mk12" Complete Upper - $800 (plus tax and shipping)
These uppers feature 18-inch, "premium black" medium contour, stainless steel, nitrided barrels with .223 Wylde chambers and 1-8 twist that are suitable for milspec 5.56 or commercial .223 ammunition from 55gr to 77gr weight range. These uppers are ideal for someone looking to outfit their lower with a precision upper able to reach out to 600 yards and beyond with magnified optics. If you only have a carbine but don't have long-range capabilities yet, an upper like this equipped with long-range ammunition like Mk262 is a game changer.
16" Mid-Length "RECCE" Complete Upper - $780 (plus tax and shipping)
These uppers feature 16-inch, "premium black" medium contour, stainless steel, nitrided barrels with .223 Wylde chambers and 1-8 twist rifling that are suitable for milspec 5.56 or commercial .223 ammunition in the 55gr to 77gr weight range. These uppers are great for RECCE builds with low power variable optics that give the best of both worlds - compact maneuverability and long-range accuracy.
16" Mid-Length "CLASSIC" Complete Upper - $780 (plus tax and shipping)
These uppers feature 16-inch barrels with milspec phosphate finish and chrome lining in 5.56 chambering with 1-t twist rifling. Available in government or HBAR (heavy) contour, these barrels are designed for heavy use. These uppers are great for defensive carbine builds equipped with red dots, ACOGs, or low power variable optics.
HOW ABOUT SOME ADDED INCENTIVE? All complete upper receiver group purchases will include some ADC "swag' with stickers, patches, and one of our new, limited-edition keychain flasks.

These pocket-sized stainless steel flasks are laser-engraved with the ADC logos front and back.
If you would like more information on these uppers or would like to purchase - keep in mind they aren't listed on the armory page and are an exclusive to newsletter subscribers. Reach out to me at mike@adc-training.com and I can answer any questions or take your order.

LASER ENGRAVING

I just picked up a 30-watt fiber laser. If you need custom laser engraving done on anything, let me know. Keep in mind, I'm not an FFL since I moved to Idaho, so I can't accept firearms or serialized receivers for engraving at this time. However, if you are looking for customized parts like caliber-specific magazines or dust covers, that is something I can do!

WEBSIGHT PAYMENTS

I'm still fighting the payment plugin and any orders I receive will be invoiced separately with a secure payment link. It's less than ideal, but for the time being it works. I'm using Authorize.net, which is one of the few gun-business friendly payment processors left. Accordingly, very few plugins support Authorize.net payment applications. Until I can get the payment processing fixed more definitively, here's how it's going to work: if you register for a class or purchase products from our website, you will receive an email invoice with a secure payment link within 24 hours. That should facilitate registrations and purchases. I apologize for the inconvenience. Any Wordpress experts out there?

LOWLIGHT CLASS

Folks are already signing up for our low-light class, which is coming up in just a few weeks. It's not too late to join us in this class, which should be an "illuminating" experience.
This class is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Class cost is $100 and students will need 200 rounds of practice ammo. It is also suggested you bring a few rounds of your normal carry/defensive ammo so you can experience its flash characteristics in dark conditions. Students will need a handheld flashlight capable of at least 100 lumens such as a Surefire Tactician or Streamlight Protac.
