A new class this year, this is the online version of our AR15 armorer class that takes place in 3 sessions over 3 evenings. We will cover complete disassembly and reassembly of AR15-style rifles and carbines, troubleshooting, and other critical armorer skills. LEGISLATION UPDATE
|
Court Ruling on Age Restrictions (January 30, 2025): A U.S. appeals court ruled that banning gun sales to young adults under 21 is unconstitutional, stating that the Second Amendment includes individuals aged 18-20.

Senate Bill 1008: This bill aims to repeal and add to existing law to prohibit limitations regarding concealed weapons at public colleges and universities. It was introduced on January 17, 2025, and referred to the State Affairs Committee.

Senate Bill 59: This bill proposes exempting firearms and ammunition from sales and use tax. It is currently under consideration in the Senate Ways and Means Committee.

House Bill 12: This bill, titled "Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Order Changes," was introduced on January 21, 2025. It is currently pending in the House Consumer & Public Affairs Committee (HCPAC). It expands New Mexico's "Red Flag" laws dangerously by changing who can "red flag" gun owners.

House Bill 38: This bill, titled "Possession Of Weapon Conversion Device," was introduced on January 21, 2025. It is also pending in the House Consumer & Public Affairs Committee (HCPAC). This bill is vague word salad that could be interpreted to ban whatever the state wants at any given time.

House Bill 39: This bill, titled "Juvenile Record In Firearm Background Checks," was introduced on January 21, 2025. It is currently pending in the House Consumer & Public Affairs Committee (HCPAC).

It is important to contact your representatives and let them know how you feel about these. Watch out New Mexico! You don't want to be following Colorado or New Mexico. We have a great opportunity over the next 2 years with a gun-friendly Federal Government. Push back with your letters, votes, and of course, memberships and donations for firearms rights advocacy organizations.

I'm still waiting for confirmation from the Fremont County Sportsman's Club on my proposed dates for Idaho classes. I haven't had anyone contact me to schedule classes elsewhere yet. I wound up canceling my New Mexico classes last year. Los Alamos folks: I think you'd love my new DMR class! Let's set something up!

These upper receiver groups begin with a T-marked government-contract M-4 upper receiver laser engraved with our logo. Barrel flanges are lapped and "trued" for top-notch accuracy. Builds feature mid-length Adaptive Defense Armory handguards and gas blocks with black nitrided gas tubes. Uppers are headspace checked and test-fired.
