ONLINE CLASS REMINDER

The online version of our Black Rifle 101 class is this week. This class is broken in to 2 sessions: the first session is Tuesday evening, February 6, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mountain Time, the second session is Thursday evening, February 8, also from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

This class is a comprehensive overview of America's Rifle. Online training is one way to improve your knowledge and skills without breaking the bank on your ammo budget! If you haven't dug that AR out of your closet or gun safe for a while and need to get re-acquainted with it, this class is a great refresher

Our next online class is our intro to precision optics. This class will be held Tuesday, February 13 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mountain Time.

Our last online class is a new class that takes some of the highlights from our concealed carry classes without all the state-required fluff. This class focuses on mindset, which is something we need to really focus on to keep sharp in the current environment of gaslighting and brainwashing to avoid falling into complacency.

Whistleblowers have leaked information that the ATF is drafting a new rule, 1300 pages of tyranny nationally prohibiting private firearms sales. Considering their simultaneous efforts to shut down FFL's due to minor recordkeeping errors, and maintain an illegal, digital database of firearms transactions gleaned from millions of 4473 forms, the future of the Second Amendment looks pretty bleak if this is allowed to continue.

At the state level, New Mexico has hit rock-bottom and started to dig. Anti-gun legislation including waiting periods, magazine bans, semi-auto bans, enhanced red flag laws, concealed carry restriction and more are being rammed through in Santa Fe. Sad to say the lunatic Governor and her anti-gun cronies are part of the reason I left New Mexico. I hope the voters there can make a course correction soon and send some of these anti-gun petty tyrants packing!

One of the most effective weapons we have had against these tyrants is, unfortunately, "lawfare." Using a war of lawsuits to challenge unconstitutional legislation. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, Gun Owners of America, and Firearms Policy Coalition (along with state affiliates like New Mexico Shooting Sports Association and Idaho Second Amendment Alliance) are the strongest allies we have in this fight right now. The NRA, unfortunately, is mired in the Wayne LaPierre scandals and it will be a while (if ever) before they regain the political and social power they wielded a decade ago. I strongly recommend supporting these organizations by joining and/or donating to support their lawsuits to stop unconstitutional firearms restrictions.
